Basics of The Face

We had our first ‘real’ lesson with Tony Pringle where we learnt how to draw a human face and how to make each one a different character. He also taught us that you don’t need perfection when drawing concept art or any art really. He did this by telling us to draw odd circular shapes and trying to make a character based on the shape, for example a tall head could have a hat, or be made into a alien of sorts. We were also told not to use a rubber as it makes people take more care in their work, not using a rubber also helped us get past our ‘art’ being perfect as the imperfections are what make each character different.14374808_1405618419452361_415521489_o
