VFX Tracking Mocha

In this lesson of vfx we were given two different pieces of footage, the first being a tunnel that we had to add some graffiti to and make it look natural by changing the opacity ect. We did this by tracking the place on the tunnnel we wanted the graffiti to go by using Mocha which is a built in program which let us put where would be rendered and where would be tracked, and when it was done we would copy and paste it onto a black layer in AE, this would make the tracked part of the footage black which we then changed the black for the image of a dragon. One problem that i faced with this track was making the dragon graffiti the right size, even tho it was a easy fix i completely forgot and was stuck for 5 minutes.

The final track of the footage will be added soon. (Need to get a recording software)

For the second track that we did in this lesson we had a slightly harder task as we had footage of a moving train that we had to put words on, personally this went better for me as i didn’t have to deal with the sizing of the letters and the tracking process was exactly the same just put the footage into mocha track it and paste onto a black solid and replace the solid for what you want.

The final track of the footage will be added soon. (Need to get a recording software)
