Before the after #25 Final!

So today was the due date for our final year project!

In this week there was a ton done! It started as it usually does with the team getting together for a scrim where we all said what we had left to do and thankfully there really wasn’t much left as people had worked over the weekend! The real major thing that we had to do was have everything exported and sent to Charlie by the Wednesday to give him two days of editing. This ended up working out perfectly as It gave me time to make the final title scene which took inspiration from the Solo Movie one. This also gave Ryan enough time to fix some of his leftover things and then Liam was checking to see if anyone had anything they wanted to be rendered out while Charlie looked into what type of music thought would work best with him editing style.

So as said I managed to get the title scene done which took around about 3 hours due to changing the whole things twice and then having a bug with the lighting which I had to work around, In whole, I think that this scene looks fairly good considering the lighting error which we had although I could have made the stars look different as I have used the same way of making them throughout all the space scenes I have made.

As a whole, the team has completed all of the work that we were tasked and managed to get the whole thing edited and rendered for the due date! I’ll leave a link to in below, as a whole for this project I think it came out great! Every effect looks really good and with a couple changes this project could be one of the best visual effects based projects and although it’ll take us some more time I do personally believe it’ll be well worth it!

The teamwork within this week as you can probably tell was great! Everyone worked together perfectly which allowed us to find more efficient ways to do scenes while also making it look better as a whole as this was the last week we did anticipate this being the best week as everyone was on edge last week and wanted the absolute best from this project.
